Best DVD Cover of 2007
I was browsing on Amazon and happened to come upon this image:
At a quick glance, it just seems like a scene from the movie. But seeing upside-down words got me to really study it. Flipping the image over allowed me to see that “Princess Bride” reads exactly the same no matter which way it is flipped. Kudos to the graphic designer on this one as I would have never thought “Princess Bride” could be read the same upside-down. The font, images, colors, and layout are amazing! Not to mention, the cover really sums up the movie.
Unintentionally, this is a tribute to one of my favorite movies of all time. But the notion that it’s the 20th Anniversary Edition makes me feel a bit old.
